This new botanic garden is set in the foothills of the Alps in Trauttmansdorff, Meran, Italy. The English garden shown here is on one of the south facing terraces overlooking the lake. There are three garden rooms enclosed with hedges. The two outer gardens include "crinkle crankle" paths and hedges.
