A new garden was designed around the old Mas
De Pilon farmhouse at the foot of a mountain range near St. Remy in Provence.
The grounds of the estate are extensive and include a sculpture and topiary
garden, pools and a potager. A mound was created to screen an existing pylon
with mature tree specimens of up to 25 meters in height. It blends into the
landscape like a foothill of the mountains. The February 2001 English House
and Garden Magazine featured the garden. It was also covered by Town & Country
in August of that same year.
